The kitchen garden is intended to provide those quick and easy key ingredients for any dish no matter what the season. Our favorites are peppers, tomatoes, basil, green beans, peas, dill, beets, cilantro, potatoes, celery, and anything new we'd like to try for the season.
We have various perennial gardens on the property that range from full sun gardens to beds that have deep shade requirements. From season to season we learn as we go. New plants are added every year, some flourish, some get put on the "do not do that again" list. We call it inspiration to keep learning.
Places that need a little pop of color, corners that need some vertical interest, and front entryways that need some seasonal interest, are all great reasons to utilize container gardening. They can easily be filled with combinations of perennials and annuals, depending on the visual interest you may be looking for.
